Welcome to Vanderbilt Beach

Sunset views and luxury condos in an upscale beachfront neighborhood

Bisected by a sparkling waterway and encompassing one of the county’s most popular beaches, Vanderbilt Beach is a bustling beachfront community dominated by luxury high- and mid-rise condos that offer residents spectacular sunset views as well as a variety of resort-style amenities. Moving away from the beachfront, the neighborhood also boasts a number of luxury single-family homes located along the vast waterways, many of which feature private docking facilities.

The community’s mixed crowd of retirees, empty nesters, young professionals, and families make it a diverse, fun, and active neighborhood to call home.

  • Access to a pristine sandy beach
  • Amenity-rich condo complexes
  • Spectacular sunset views
  • Proximity to central and downtown Naples

Local Lifestyle

With Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park to the north and an abundance of luxury hotels and resorts to the south, Vanderbilt Beach residents can enjoy a variety of activities and amenities catering to many different lifestyles. Although the neighborhood certainly holds its own when it comes to restaurants and entertainment, Naples is only a short drive away and is particularly popular among younger residents who commute to enjoy shopping and dining out with friends.

Dining, Entertainment & Shopping

Vanderbilt Beach’s northerly location means residents prefer local restaurants and shops over daily commutes into Naples. Luckily, Vanderbilt Beach hosts an array of highly-regarded shopping and dining destinations, including The Turtle Club, a beachfront fine dining venue specializing in steak and seafood, while offering patrons spectacular views of the ocean and an unrivaled opportunity to people watch. DaRuMa is another excellent choice for a stylish yet relaxed experience of Japanese cuisine and perfectly presented sushi. It’s a popular destination among families who enjoy the lively entertainment offered by the restaurant’s teppanyaki chef and his table front cooking.

Just a short drive from the neighborhood itself, the Mercato commercial center offers residents access to a wide range of restaurants, bars, and shopping opportunities, including the Burntwood Tavern, a rustic American eatery serving traditional pub grub alongside a well-stocked bar. Blue Martini, also located on Strada Place, is a bustling nightlife destination offering a laid-back outdoor patio to enjoy champagne, as well as a more upbeat interior featuring live music, daily specials, and an exhaustive cocktail and drinks menu. For a relaxed Asian dining experience, don’t miss AZN Azian Cuizine, known for its noodles and sushi and a great selection of steak-based dishes.

Mercato also features several boutiques and branded retail stores, including Buff City Soap, Pandora, and Ulta.

Things to Do

Unsurprisingly, one of Vanderbilt Beach’s most significant draws is Vanderbilt Beach Park. Offering public access to miles of sandy shoreline that passes by some of the most luxurious hotels in the neighborhood, the park is also home to a laid-back concession stand, where visitors can acquire beach chairs, cabanas, snacks, and games to enjoy in the sun.

For those searching for a more exclusive experience, a visit to La Playa Beach and Golf Resort is sure to check all the boxes, offering guests and day visitors access to the luxurious SpaTerre, a sprawling boutique spa known for its excellent massage therapists and knowledgeable estheticians. The resort’s beachfront location also means visitors can take advantage of the watersports and activities offered by the resort, including kayaking, paddle boarding, and speeding across the water on a sleek wave runner. The LaPlaya Golf Club is an attraction in and of itself and is particularly popular among avid sportsmen and women looking to enjoy a game on an exclusive private course like no other in the city.

Alternatively, nature enthusiasts will be pleased to visit the scenic Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park, located just north of Vanderbilt Beach and featuring excellent swimming and snorkeling conditions as well as boating, fishing, and hiking amenities.
